Martin's departure saddened us all. As a colleague he was brilliant at what he did (Rolls-Royce HPC will not be what it is today without Martin's first class contribution), always so helpful and pragmatic in his approach; as a friend he's always there and ready and eager to lend a helping hand. Always enjoyed my chats with Martin about subjects outside of work. A very intelligent man, and always a gentlemen.
